Based on the AIAG MSA manual, participants will learn how to use mathematical principles and experimentation to determine how variation within the measurement process contributes to overall process variability.
This course is a core component for anyone working in a quality related field.
Course highlights include:
- Introduce measuring and gauging systems
- Understand and quantify variations in measurement systems
- Learn techniques for analyzing variation
- Quantify what percentage error is acceptable
- Become introduced to the concepts of bias, linearity, repeatability, reproducibility, and stability
Notes:
There is no prerequisite for this class. The handout material and a certificate of completion are included with the course fee.
